Great sunscreen for the face!
It absorbs easily into my skin and comes with a convenient pump that locks into place for travel. I buy this from Ulta, but you can get it at most drugstores, just not Target. At Ulta it retails for $13.99.
i don't think this would be as stable or sweat-resistant as the other Neutrogena sunscreens like Active or Ultra-Sheen Dry touch, but I love how it feels like nothing and gives some moisture to my skin (my skin is dry); it really is more like a lotion than a sunscreen in terms of feel and scent.

Instant HG status. I am generally very good about wearing s/s on my face, but I have a hard time compelling myself to do so on my body because I *hate* the feel of most sunscreens. but a month or so ago while waiting for our food in the El Pollo Loco drive through my b/f busied himself counting all the freckles I have on my arms and shoulders from 20 years of sun exposure and no sunscreen. I kind of got the point that I might want to look into a good body s/s. I tried a few before this, and no matter how oil free, matte, generally not-sticky they claimed to be I begged to differ. Not so with this! this is the first sunscreen I've ever used that leaves absolutely ZERO feel on my skin. honestly, by touching or looking you'd never know I had anything, let alone s/s on my body. that alone would be enough, but it actually has protected my skin very well while out horse back riding this summer, which is great because I'm very fair skinned and burn easily. I also love, love, love the pump bottle! it pumps out just the perfect amount, and it has a light, pleasant scent. what more could you want?

This is a fantastic sunscreen to use on a daily basis and serves as a great moisturizer as a bonus. Being a person that generally needs to put on lotion everyday, in addition to being sun conscious, it's great to kill two birds with one stone. This sunblock/lotion goes on thick (and can be hard to spread), but surprisingly, it does not feel greasy or heavy. It does make your skin sort of shiny afterward, but it's not the oily sort of shiny--it's the nice, healthy kind. It does have a sort of strong smell to it, but it doesn't really smell like sunblock, but more like Jergens regular lotion. It typically does well in moisturizing my skin, but once in a while, I will feel the need to put on more lotion. So far, it has performed well as a sunblock too--I wore it to a 2.5 hour tennis match this summer, during which I was in direct sunlight, and walked away without any sunburn or redness, although I normally don't get sunburn easily anyway, but considering the degree of sunlight, it's still quite impressive. All in all, a lightweight sunblock with 45 SPF that also performs as a non-greasy moisturizer is an A in my book!

I have very fair skin and this product helps me take excellent care of it! Non-sticky and lasts all day. I buy it year round for my every day protection routine.

Love this! I like the high SPF, the slight moisturizing and the texture. I'm using it on my body (not face) while on vacation in Hawaii and it works well, my skin feels softened, not "coated" or plasticky. Don't know how stable this formula is, but I will continue to buy & use. continued >>

I've tried other sunscreens - including others by Neutrogena - and have been by far most satisfied with this one! It spreads easily, and absorbs relatively quickly. I even use this on my face (acne-prone), and haven't had any problems (*knocking on wood*). This is now the only s/s I purchase.

Loving this! Sinks in fast, feels great. Feels so much lighter than the Dry Touch, and spreads easier. Has not balled up. Love the pump dispenser. I guess I'm lucky, have been using on my face with no problem. I love that once it sinks in you can touch it and it does not have that sticky sunscreen feel. Edited-migrates into my eyes when jogging, which really stings. Using on less active days.

This is a very nice sunscreen, as long as you only use it on your body. It is very moisturizing, comfortable to wear, and doesn't have an overpowering frangrance. Just don't put this on your face! I did, and ended up breaking out in whiteheads/blackheads. Blech. I have combo skin, but only break out when products clog my pores. So, despite what the label on the packaging says, this is NOT non-comedogenic. So, again, it's a good product as long as you keep it off of your face.

Good gracious!!! I really like this sunblock!!! it feels sooo soft and smooth on your skin and it DOES absorb very quickly...like a lotion!!! it's also NOT greasy either...wooohoo!! and smells GREAT! I would definitely buy again!! great stuff!!

I love this product. It really does feel like lotion on your skin, and does moisturize. I just wish it came in a bigger bottle. I love this product. I use it in the morning before I head out and it's great that it provides broad spectrum protection and has a spf of 45! Definately love this product!

wowza a prayer answered. i just watermelon juice all over my mouse because i'm in such a mua frenzy right now! anyhoo, this stuff is IT - a way to be protected without smelling or feeling like it. really - it disappears softly and nicely into my skin and protects very, very well. after days touring under the sun i have a slight nice golden base tan (no small acheivement after a certain big birthday - but don't think about that if you don't have to, yet) which i've never been able to avoid with any spf after that many hours out there, but it just protected so well without suffocating me like many high spf creams do. i'm not a big fan of pumps - they are awkward for me on tall skinny bottles and no good for travel as far as i'm concerned, but as this is the only high spf i've ever found that's so soft and light and comfy, i'm willing to pump for it. i have never tried this on my face, fyi.

Big rave for this s/s. It really does feel like a body lotion after I apply. When applying it is quite thick, but it absorbs FAST. Within minutes, my arms just feel very smooth like after applying body lotion. I don't mind the scent at all, and I don't find it overpowering. I don't even notice it during the day and it doesn't compete with my fragrance. I've tried lots of s/s out there, but this is the best for body. My only concern is the packaging. Although the pump is convenient for use at home, and it does lock -- I'd still prefer a standard squeeze tube/bottle for transporting. I don't know if this s/s is stable either, but I always try to reapply s/s mid-day anyways. Having said that, it still absorbs quickly and doesn't feel thick or greasy even upon 2nd application of the day. Most other s/s feel really thick and layered after the 2nd application. It's a couple dollars more than other drugstore brands, but it's worth it and it does go on sale. I haven't used this on my face, I use Aveeno s/s for the face instead so I don't know if this will cause break outs. It's a bit too thick for using for the face I think. I can see why some others complain that it may ball up if you rub it in too much .. but quite frankly it's easily avoidable b/c I don't see the need to have to rub it in that much b/c it absorbs so quicky. Best part: NON-GREASY. Worst part: not sure if it's stable

This is the best sunscreen for face and body. I am working long hours outside all summer in humid weather, and this is the first sunscreen which does not feel greasy when being applied or after. As for my face, it is great even for my oily skin, and makes my foundation apply much more smoothly. As said before, avoid getting this in the eyes because it burns so bad!!

I love this sun screen!! It's very light and goes on very easily. I put it on like body lotion when I'm going out in the sun because it feels like lotion! It's not thick, or greasy, or makes me shiney...my skin is actually soft afterwards! I haven't tried it on my face, but it works well on the body. It does have a slight sunscreen smell, but it's very light and not over powering. I just let it dry, put on some body spray and no one would know. I especially like that this is such a high SPF and it's not super thick. Way to go, Neutrogena!

I keep a small sample-sized bottle of this in my bag or pocket year-round, and reapply to my hands after every hand-washing. It works well as a combo high-spf sunblock/hand lotion, keeps my dry hands soft, and doesn't irritate them when they're super-dry, cracked and sensitive. Also, while it is relatively strongly scented, it doesn't scream "sunscreen" to me. It smells more flowery than, say, Coppertone or Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens, or even most other Neutrogena sunscreens. It's a little too smelly for me to choose it for the rest of my body, but it's so gentle on my hands I thought it might make a good facial sunblock/moisturizer. Nope! It BURNED, especially around my eyes, and mananged to slide into them even on a cool, dry, no-sweating winter day when applied nowhere near my eyes. I'm still looking for the perfect facial sunblock, but, to my surprise, I found a sunblock I can use ON MY EYELIDS AND UNDEREYE that doesn't irritate or run - Neutrogena Healthy Defense Oil-Free Broad Spectrum Sunblock Stick SPF 30! I am amazed. It claims to be sweatproof and waterproof, and while I haven't tested this on a hot summer day or at the beach, for everyday wear, it's great. It does make my naturally oily lids a little more so, but a little pressed powder takes care of that if I choose. Too bad it's a really inconvenient size (1.25" x .5" application surface)and poor texture (chapstick-like)for whole-face use.

Neutrogena has the best sunscreen! I use this and the Dry-touch sunblock, i love em both. I have been using this one on my face for about a month and it hasn't made me break out (it's non-comedogenic yay!). It feels just like a moisturizer. I have oily skin and it isn't too greasy on my face at all.

This is one of my favorite products, i'm so paranoid about the sun and this does not feel greasy. I use this as a body lotion during the day. Everyone tells me that I smell just like I got out of a pool, but hey thats ok. I kinda like that summer/sunblock/pool/beach smell anyway. It does however over power any body fragrance I use, and i dont like that part. Anna Sui mixed w/ the scent of a pool doesn't smell very nice. I am going to actually try a few drops of B&BW's scented oil to it and see if i can't make it scented, and hope that it wont affect the SPF. I'll let u know how the smell comes out but as for the SPF i'm not a scientist so i'll have no idea if it will mess it up. continued >>

LOVE this product. I use it everyday on my arms, chest and back (I live in Florida, so those are the most exposed parts of me on a daily basis). Feels super creamy when going on, but soaks in almost immediately. My only complaint is that for 12 dollars, the bottle is a little small considering it is a body lotion, but with such a high spf, no fragrance and great feel, I'll buy it again.

I knew I should've gotten that Dry Touch/Sheer Touch sunblock instead. My body isn't very oily, but when I put this stuff on, it feels like I'm drowning in grease. It does NOT feel like a body lotion. It's a bit thick, spreads... decently, but feels awful! I guess that's what you get for wearing such a high SPF? I bought it 'cause it claimed to be "non-greasy" and "lightweight," but it's not. It also makes my skin shiny, but not as much as other sunscreens. I'm glad I didn't use this on my face, and I wouldn't recommend doing so, either. Once I use this up, I'll find something better. The packaging is nice. The pump locks easily for portability, but I think I'd rather have my sunscreen come in a tube, just in case.

This is sunscreen that doesn't feel or smell like sunscreen. It IS ultra soft and light, it smoothes on so easily, and has no offensive fragrance. A very elegant texture. I wouldn't use it on my face or chest for fear of breakouts. Great great for arms and legs.
